A man from Georgia has been arrested and accused of exploiting children sexually while working as a cheerleading coach.

Charles Archibald Moore Jr., 34, was taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at his home in Snellville, as reported by the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office.

Moore was employed at Star Athletics in Winder but was fired in November 2023 due to concerns raised by parents about inappropriate social media posts.

Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith stated, “The employees at Star Athletics have been very helpful during our investigation.”

Moore is currently held at the Barrow County Detention Center without bond. Investigator Heather Stafford of the BCSO mentioned, “We believe there may be other victims who have not yet spoken out. It’s important for these girls to know that they won’t get in trouble if they provide information about Mr. Moore’s actions.”
