Tragic Stockton Fire Leaves Three Dead, Suspect Jose Carmona On the Run

A woman and two children have tragically died in a fire, as reported by the Stockton Police Department.

The incident occurred around 6:38 a.m. on Tuesday at a trailer located near Visalia Court and Harbor Street. Upon arrival, police discovered the bodies of the woman and two young individuals at the scene.

Authorities are searching for the suspect in this homicide case, identified as 59-year-old Jose Carmona. He is currently evading capture and has multiple aliases: Jose Carmona-Estrada, Roberto Giron-Giron, Felipe Ramirez Leon, Juan Alonzo-Alemndares, Juan Alonzo, Jose Avilla Cardona, and Vecerra Torres.

Stockton police urge anyone with information about Carmona’s whereabouts to contact them at 209-937-8377. Tips can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 209-946-0600. Informants may be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
