A video of a robbery in San Francisco’s Chinatown was shared on YouTube this week. The robbery happened early on Wednesday morning, and the victim, a woman, reported it to the police around noon at the SFPD Central Station. She said the incident occurred around 6 a.m. at Grant Avenue and Jackson Street.

The woman explained to the police that an unknown man approached her, took her belongings, and pushed her to the ground before running away. Paramedics were called to check on her, and she was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The video of the robbery is quite graphic. It shows the incident happening at 5:47 a.m., just as it was getting light outside. The woman is walking along the sidewalk when the man rushes up behind her. There is no one else around. The man grabs her, spins her around, and pushes her to the ground. He then takes what seems to be her purse but leaves her yellow shopping bag.

The police have not made any arrests yet, and the investigation is still ongoing.
