Little Caesars locations across West Virginia, along with select stores in Kentucky and Ohio, are launching the 6th annual Pizza Pizza Paws Campaign to support police K-9 handlers.

Throughout April, participating stores will raise funds to provide essential equipment for over 200 K-9 teams.

Handlers will have the option to receive a Ray Allen Icon Air Harness, a Ray Allen Leather Agitation Muzzle, or a Tractive GPS Tracker.

The campaign aims to raise $30,000, with fundraising thermometers displayed at 66 participating Little Caesars locations—52 in West Virginia, 6 in Kentucky, and 8 in Ohio.

This initiative sheds light on the financial challenges many K-9 units face, as some rely heavily on donations and personal contributions from handlers.

“It’s an honor for us to support police K-9 divisions,” said Vicki Dunn-Marshall, franchisee and owner of VDM Management Group.

“K-9 officers play a crucial role in tracking, drug searches, and criminal apprehension, making our communities safer places to live and work.”

Marketing Director Sabrina Donahue-Moore emphasized the importance of community involvement.

“We as a community can step up and make a difference. We appreciate our customers’ support and extend a big thank you to the officers and their K-9 partners who risk their lives every day.”

William Rose, President of the West Virginia Police Canine Association, highlighted the impact of the campaign.

“This initiative continues to be a major benefit for K-9 handlers, providing vital tools and supplies that many departments couldn’t afford otherwise.

Supporting us and our K-9 partners helps us better serve and protect our communities.”

Since its launch in 2019, the Pizza Pizza Paws Campaign has provided crucial equipment to K-9 teams:

  • 2019: 85 handlers received duffle first aid kits.
  • 2020: Campaign canceled due to COVID-19.
  • 2021: 100 handlers received DOGTRA GPS tracking collars.
  • 2022: 170 handlers received an “Essentials Kit” (collar, leash, CamelBak, etc.).
  • 2023: 185 K-9 teams received an “On The Go” kit (A/C vent system, spill-proof bowl, tab lead).
  • 2024: 200 handlers received Kilo-9 NAR Roo IFAK portable first aid kits.

Donations can be made at participating Little Caesars locations or Help For Animals in Barboursville.
