Four people were arrested for stealing thousands of dollars worth of Lululemon leggings from a store in San Mateo. The theft happened at the Hillsdale Shopping Center around 2 p.m. Three suspects took the clothing and ran out of the store to a waiting white Subaru Outback, which drove towards Highway 101.

The San Mateo Police responded to the store and found out that the suspects had stolen almost $10,000 worth of clothing. Meanwhile, the Organized Retail Theft Task Force searched for the suspects’ vehicle and located it in San Francisco.

When officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver fled recklessly, leading police to end the pursuit for safety reasons. With the help of San Francisco police, the Subaru was found abandoned; it had been reported stolen earlier that day.

Shortly after, all four suspects were found, along with the stolen clothes. The suspects, Theodore Gore, Sierra Mansanares, Camy Massutti, and Jesus Olivarez, were arrested and taken to San Mateo County Jail.

They face charges of organized retail theft, grand theft, and second-degree burglary. Gore faces additional charges of evading a peace officer, possession of a stolen vehicle, and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. Mansanares and Massutti face an extra charge of possession of a controlled substance.

The suspects are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
